Adobe Youth Voice (AYV) Project
This poster was chosen as an International Finalist for
the AYV Aspire Awards. The purpose of my poster was to express my creativity.

The competition took place over the summer 2013, alongside the Youth Design students’ internships. Students were required to select and research social issues, develop design concepts, and, crucially, craft a compelling call to action. Each student was connected to a professional designer from across the U.S., who supported their visual work. Nikki Korn led sessions to help them identify, research and refine their social issues.
Awarded First Place in the Contest
This project was for the Boston Fair Housing Poster contest. The criteria of the poster was to show
that Boston is a diverse city. We carefully chose our images.The Boston skyline is meant to show
the city buildings, while the colors are meant to show the warmth of nature. The single silhouette of a house highlights a residence within the city. This poster was designed by Yamilet Acevedo & Eliany Castro.

Cereal Box Design
This project was to create and designa unique cereal box package.
I drew this picture on a canvas for a client. The client wanted animage of a woman that was reflective of her heritage. I used colors, shapes and patterns to create this unique artwork.

I received a fortune cookie and had to
design an image that conveyed the fortune.

I placed first in this contest and was awarded a generous prize. I used pastel colors and soft
textures to create a feeling of love and peace.
